BACKGROUND

I’m a software developer based in Mödling, Austria currently in the process of making an indie game named Gods Must Work which I’m developing as a love letter to Abbey Games’ Reus.

I love to work on a variety of creative projects to broaden my skills and build a complete understanding of the games industry and new technologies in the field. I also like to participate in game jams especially if they have hard time constraints (such as Ludum Dare).

I graduated from TU Wien in BSc Computer Engineering with options in Visual Computing.

PROJECTS

(WIP) Gods Must Work

In this god game inspired by Reus, Civilization VI & Shenzhen IO it is up to the player to build ecosystems by placing species on the hex grid while making use of their built in synergies.
In this project I worked as the only programmer, game and UI designer. Most notably I made the world generation algorithm using compute shaders for performance, worked on visuals with shader graph & amplify shader editor and created a modular system to parse json files for game content.

Asterix & Obelix: Heroes

This game is a team-based deckbuilder based on the world created by Uderzo & Goscinny made during my time at Gamexcite. We released the game on Steam, Epic, Switch, Xbox One, PS4 & 5 in 14 different languages.

SELECT GAME JAMS

Bazooka Freaks

During this Ludum Dare (72h) we made a 3D worms where the stage takes place in a hollow planet, where the player characters and projectiles are both pulled outward and towards the core in the middle of the world. The most fun part was making the gravity work.

Dungeon Protector

A puzzle game where the player has to use the limited moveset, actions per turn and turns to kill all intruders.
